We are absolutely delighted with our “second home”. The quality of both the build and fit out far surpassed our expectations. The highest quality of finish has been confirmed by others in the Industry who are full of jealous admiration!
Watching the boat evolve was very exciting, made all the more pleasurable as a direct result of Gary and Fran’s “Can do” attitude; evident at the first time of meeting and throughout the entire process. Amazing how this was not the case with other Boat Builders we approached at the outset.
We made many additions to the boat along the way; all our ideas and suggestions were met with great enthusiasm and implemented virtually immediately! Both Fran and Gary’s attention to detail is exemplary and they went to great trouble to ensure our boat had the latest technology. The post delivery support has been second to none.
We would defy anyone to have a better experience than ours. We give Montebello 6 Stars.

Practical, comfortable, luxurious and stylish are just some of the words that come to mind when describing our Montebello Cat “Lycullin Cat”. We have been out in rough and smooth weather conditions since purchasing the “Lycullin Cat” and have been delighted with the way she handles and rides. From fishing the reef to cruising the Whitsundays the “Lycullin Cat” is suited to both. Gary and Francis at Montebello Yachts have been a pleasure to deal with during the construction process and any after sales dealings we have had to have.
Ian and I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Montebello Yachts as a quality company with a quality product!

I’d been boating most of my life, with my last boat being a monohull 38 footer. I knew exactly what I wanted – plenty of headroom throughout (I’m 6’4”), ample legroom, not to be cramped in bed, an enclosed flybridge for maximum comfort in all conditions, and the last must have – the boat’s gotta be quick !
The Montebello achieved all that and more. With stab in the back acceleration I can run off to Rottnest Island at well over 30 knots if I wish, all whilst comfortably ensconced in the flybridge.
When I get there, I’ ve got space galore – the open plan saloon, huge covered cockpit, enormous foredeck – all focused on maximizing our family’s enjoyment – I wouldn’t change a thing – the boat’s perfect !
