Transom: There are large steps giving easy access to the water with a recessed fold away stainless steal ladder. There is full access to engine compartments through deck hatches in this area.

New Gold Coast luxury catamaran builder Montebello Yachts says even the well healed are looking for economical cruising, cost-effective berthing and easy maintenance these days, and that its range of powerboats fits that bill. Going into the boat show season, Montebello says it has four potential new clients, one of whom is an international. “We are in negotiations on specifications and price. This is above any expectations we had,” says Frances Zamparutti, Montebello Yachts marketing and administration manager.
